Certified Financial Planner®, former Ulladulla Primary & Ulladulla High School Captain, is returning home to the South Coast to join our Financial Services team at Hales Douglass Financial Services.

Because we’re all about community and the success of our clients, we’re looking forward to Cheyne joining our crew, resettling back home, and using his extensive financial experience to successfully manage our clients’ financial affairs.

About Cheyne

Cheyne has worked in the finance industry since 2006.  Before joining Hales Douglass Financial Services, Cheyne worked for a leading boutique financial planning advice firm in Wollongong, where he provided comprehensive financial planning advice to new and existing clients for over 10 years.

Cheyne has extensive experience in

  • Pre and post-retirement planning;
  • Tax minimisation;
  • Maximisation of Centrelink benefits;
  • Superannuation advice;
  • Investment advice;
  • Aged care advice; and
  • UK State Pensions.

Industry qualifications

Education has been a very strong focus for Cheyne. Cheyne is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong majoring in Accounting, a Masters of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Western Sydney majoring in Financial Planning, a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking and a Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong.

Additionally, Cheyne attends several industry conferences and seminars and reads widely to ensure that he remains up to date with financial and legislative issues.
